GinoTheSoupMan was started in the home kitchen of Gino & Juli Scala in 2008. It is their commitment to make healthy, great tasting soups for all who care to eat them. All products are made responsibly, meaning that the highest considerations are taken to lessen the impact on mother earth. Every soup is blessed with love and appreciation!
One day, Gino & Juli were playing with ingredients and found that by using almond milk instead of dairy cream that you could actually taste the flavor of the vegetables rather than the cream that is more commonly used. No dairy film in your mouth. The soups are Vegan and most flavors are gluten free and have amazing depth and flavor. The homemade broth is called the Mother Sauce and it is the base of all the soups. Carrots, Onions, Celery, Herbs de Provence, and Sherry are carefully blended and reduced to make an amazing vegetable broth.
Gino recommends some of the flavors as sauces. For instance the Coconut Corn & Sweet Potato over a bed of Rice Noodles and your favorite protein or Penne Pasta tossed in the Roasted Garlic & Eggplant. Krazy Kale & Lentil over Brown Rice is knock out.
Gino & Juli both contribute to the recipes, flavors, and names of the soups. Although Gino is the face of the brand together with their amazing team head up by long time production manager Danae Mejia the soup saga continues to grow and grow. It is a blessing!
